John Rupert Design specializes in three design disciplines: Product Design, Logo/Graphic Identity, and Architectural Signage.
Our website is currently structured to showcase our Product Design capabilities.
We have received numerous design awards. Our creative solutions are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are market driven and successfully appeal to customer demands and desires. Most importantly, they bring our clients generous financial return.
We believe the successes that John Rupert Design has achieved can be attributed to our years of experience working with some of the best clients in America, and the fact that we’re constantly pushing to make our work the very best…never settling for average.

Smithsonian
Over the years, John Rupert has created several products for the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum stores. Recently, he was asked to design products for the 200th Anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner. Working with the Smithsonian’s graphics buyer, he initially designed the graphic above that included an image of the original star spangled banner (flag), that is a part of the Smithsonian collection, and Francis Scott Key’s words to the Star Spangled Banner anthem. John Rupert Design featured the graphic on note cards and color print products.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation commissioned John Rupert Design to create a series of commemorative pieces that would be presented as gifts during the dedication ceremonies of the Memorial, and at the same time serve as products that could be merchandised to visitors attending the dedication. Shown here is an 11x14 print that incorporates a capsule (lower left corner) of actual granite from the MLK Memorial statue.
