PRODUCTS FOR THEMED EXHIBITS & Events
Our first Smithsonian project was in 2004 with their World War II Memorial Product Development Team to create new products for the dedication of the Memorial. These products included a bronze commemorative medallion, a paper weight made of the stone from the Memorial (shown here), prints that honored each military branch that fought in WWII, and an original rendering of the Memorial that was offset printed and sold as large color prints.
Another product that John Rupert Design developed for Smithsonian Enterprises was a poster print that tells the story of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center through graphic images of newspaper front pages from around the world.
We have shared a cordial and productive working relationship with the Smithsonian over the years because of our mutual appreciation for good quality product design.
