THE CANONIZATION OF SAINT JOHN PAUL II

“Santo Subito! Santo Subito!” or "Sainthood Now! Sainthood Now!" chanted the crowd in St. Peter’s Square during the funeral of Pope John Paul II in the Spring of 2005. Their wish came true on April 27, 2014 when the beloved John Paul II was canonized.

John Rupert Design was so inspired by this momentous occasion that we set out to do our best creative work. We started by designing a new logo/graphic identity for Saint John Paul II. We then moved into framed prints, prayer cards, and necklace pendants in honor of this great modern day Saint. We coordinated directly with the Vatican on appropriate photo images and text for the various items we designed.

Presented as gifts and made available in gift shops like the one in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., our creations turned out to be a great success. The jewelry pieces shown below were especially well received.

The St. John Paul II pendant is a constant reminder of the courage and strength we can find in the Communion of Saints.
